TULIP is Tulip Food Company’s biggest brand. Registered in 1912, the brand is now known across the world for its processed meat products (chilled, frozen and canned). In 1968, Tulip was awarded the accolade “By appointment to the Danish Court”. We take great pride in this and uphold it through our high quality standards.

Under the TULIP brand we market Tulip Bacon.

LIVRETTER is Tulip's brand for the busy consumer who wans to prepare easy and tasty meals in a hurry. LIVRETTER is registered as a brand in 2004.

The LIVRETTER brand comprises a series ready made ingredients for warm meals. They only need to be heated and served together with some delicious accessories.

LIVRETTER is produced after famous recipes for Danes' favourite dishes. It is food prepared from raw materials of high quality and with the minimum of additives - or without any.

The LIVRETTER brand comprises today chilled chicken fillets, three classic casseroles, Beef Stroganoff, Paprika Pot and Curry/Mango Pot, and different kinds of meatballs, which exist chilled or frozen.

The STEFF-HOULBERG brand can trace its roots back to 1889. Customs and habits have, of course, changed since then, but good quality raw materials and tasty products remain the fundamental principles behind STEFF HOULBERG products. Today, the range comprises the highly popular boiled and grilled sausages, ready meals, ham, smoked products and various meat toppings. In 2002, STEFF-HOULBERG became part of Tulip Food Company.

The DANISH PRIME brand comprises chilled and frozen processed meat products aimed at meeting consumers’ requirements for quick, easy and tasty meals. Launched in 1980, the DANISH PRIME brand is distinguished by its high quality products and its commitment to avoiding unnecessary additives. The concept behind the DANISH PRIME brand is for products to taste and appear homemade. DANISH PRIME products range from ready-made frikadeller (Danish meatballs) to complete ready meals, toast and hamburgers. Danish Prime merged with Tulip in 2001.

The sausage factory GØL was founded in 1934 when Jørgen B. Jensen started his own sausage business. Today, the GØL brand covers a broad range of boiled and grilled sausages and salamis. All GØL products are produced from thoroughly tested recipes and time-honoured traditions play an important role in modern production methods.  Gøl became part of Tulip Food Company in 2003.

MOU – Den Gode Suppe (The Good Soup) is a brand with proud traditions. With 12 different lines of frozen soups, MOU offers the widest range of ready-made soups and dumplings in Denmark. The products are produced according to Master Butcher Sigurd Mou’s original recipes using the best raw materials and without any unnecessary additives. With MOU, you can serve piping hot soup in just 10-15 minutes.

JAKA is a range of classic, canned ready meals. Many of the products are specialities, seldom produced in today’s kitchens. JAKA products are easy to store and require only a short time to heat before serving. They make excellent “pantry” products  and are particularly good for camping, sailing and for people who lead active lives.

Launched in 2000, PÅlækker became a highly successful cooked meat brand in record time. PÅlækker is Denmark’s biggest brand within wafer thin meat and comprises a range of traditional cooked meat with plenty of flavour and no added phosphates. The range also comprises classic flavours of liver paté based on the dual concept of quality and excellent flavour.

DEN GRØNNE SLAGTER (THE GREEN BUTCHER) is Denmark’s strongest brand within reduced-fat cooked meats. With wafer thin cooked meats, liver paté, turkey bacon, sausages and Danish meatballs, DEN GRØNNE SLAGTER allows consumers to follow a healthy diet – all day long. In 1990, two teachers at the Technical School in Hjørring, Jutland, invented the vegetable fibre that is added to products to reduce the fat content.

The range was first launched under the name “LEV LET” (Live Lightly), but was subsequently renamed DEN GRØNNE SLAGTER. The low fat percentage and outstanding flavour are achieved by using only the very best and leanest raw materials and vegetable fibre1) instead of fat. 

The products do not contain soya protein, gluten, colour and added phosphate. DEN GRØNNE SLAGTER – Makes you want to live a healthy life!

1) Tulip has patented the use of vegetable fibre in reduced fat cooked meat products, liver paté and sausages. The patent relates to minced meat products, i.e. mixed products where cut meat is mixed with vegetable fibre resulting in reduced fat content. The registered trademark for the patent is GreenCut.
