Tips for heating sausages:
Heat a saucepan of water to boiling point. Place the sausages in the pan and cover. Remove from the heat. The sausages will be ready to eat after 8-10 minutes.
Ensure that the amount of water is sufficient for the number of sausages you wish to cook. Otherwise there is a risk that the sausages will not absorb the heat and the skins will burst.
Tips for frying sausages:
Place the sausages in a dry or VERY lightly greased frying pan. Under a low heat, turn the sausages frequently so that they have an even appearance and the skin doesn’t split. They are ready to eat after 20 minutes.
Tips for barbecuing sausages:
To obtain the best results, you should only put sausages on the barbecue until after the coals and briquettes have reached their maximum temperature. Sausages should be barbecued slowly under a relatively low heat and be turned frequently.
